Now that January–with this year’s particularly brutal cold–is coming to an end, that means we are one more month closer to Spring. And with Spring come the tree nymphs, also known as Dryads (from the Greek word for “tree”). Right now they are hidden away in some strange world unknown to us, warm and happy and waiting to return when the warmth returns, and when the warmth returns and blesses us once more, sights such as this one will once again bless our natural world.
I can’t wait.
