At the moment  I am in a place of great beauty. It is a land of abundant sunshine, tropical warmth, lovely azure skies and turquoise beaches. I am only here for a couple of weeks, but even a little bit of time in a wonderfully pleasing place is better than no time at all. The older I get, the more I appreciate the value of time. All of us, no matter who we are, have only so much time on this earth and once it is gone, we can never replenish it. And for me the total enjoyment of all things beautiful has become more important than ever.

As we see in the news each day, there much misery and ugliness in the world.  I believe that celebrating what beauty there is in the world, especially in a healthy, joyous and respectful way, in a way that somehow reflects the divine love of God, helps to lessen the ugliness and increase the brightness we may find in our daily lives.

And there are many beautiful women where I am at right now, which is always nice…
