Recently I had a close brush with death. Only being close to a good hospital saved my life. I have not blogged since then. Somehow, after experiencing what I went through, blogging about sex seems somewhat trivial. Now, as I try to gather my thoughts, as I try to recuperate, I am trying to find something to write about.
I am sure I will return to erotic things, but in the meantime, it is hard to muster the energy to do so. For the time being, I suppose I will focus a bit more on spiritual matters. Nearly dying tends to focus the mind and heart and soul on such thoughts. Beauty takes on an even more spectacular and brilliant hue when tempered through suffering.

your last two sentences are profoundly true, coming close to the ultimate loss has a way of changing your vision and hearing and sense of touch. you’ll come through the recovery strongert, smarter, and standing in a slightly different perspective giving you a different point of view. no worries, be strong, and embrace the new you

Due to my illness, I’ve experienced a few brushes with death – I went from being a spoiled teenage brat to experiencing an overwhelming sense of spirituality that I have difficulty describing. Just, suddenly, everything felt more precious? I appreciate being alive, I guess.
When you recover, I bet you’ll be more erotic than ever 😉 Gotta appreciate life, while you have it!

Glad you’re OK. Have a blessed Christmas (I suppose you have already been blessed with having one at all by the sounds of it) and good luck with the recovery and wherever that leads you.
